**Stronghold Crusader Definitive Edition Tournament (Fire & Siege Engines Allowed)**

**General Rules**

* **Fire and Siege Engines are FULLY ALLOWED** (including Slaves, pitch/oil, fire ballistas, and all siege weapons without restrictions)
* Building is allowed strictly on your own territory
* Exploiting bugs is prohibited
* Balanced maps only
* If a player experiences consistently high ping, a rematch will be scheduled for another day. However, if the player's ping does not improve during the rescheduled match, they will forfeit the game (technical loss).
* If a player disconnects/crashes more than 3 times, they receive an automatic loss for that specific game (not for the entire round; for example, if the score is 1-0, they may continue with the 2nd game).
Players must arrange their match times independently and notify the streamer. If players cannot agree on a time, the organizers reserve the right to set the schedule themselves. If a player fails to show up at the scheduled time, they forfeit the match.
Organizers reserve the right to verify a player's identity by requesting screen sharing and a working microphone. Therefore, you must have the technical capability to share your screen and possess a functional microphone.
* All games must be broadcast exclusively on the SquaD channel stream. Players are forbidden from streaming to their personal channels, unless it is an unlisted/private stream or the organizer explicitly asks you to stream on your channel. Recording video is allowed and strongly recommended in case disputes arise.
Additionally, the organizer reserves the right to ask you to record your gameplay.

**Tournament Format:**

* Best-of-3 matches (BO3)
* Opponents are determined randomly
* Finals are Best-of-5 (BO5)
* The exact tournament structure/bracket will be announced later once the approximate number of participants is confirmed.

**Rules and Map Selection for the First Two Games of a Round:**

* The map and specific rules will be posted on the tournament's Discord server 3 days prior to the start of the round.

**Important:**

* Player slots are limited: minimum 8 players, maximum 32. If more participants register, the organizers reserve the right to decide who will be admitted to the tournament.
* Registration for the tournament runs until October 3, 2026. To submit an application, get in touch with our SquaD team.
* If a participant (or team) is suspected of cheating, breaks the rules, or interferes with the tournament flow, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify them without explanation.

This tournament is held with no prize pool.
